CAPTAIN Daryl Wilson

telephone (937) 225-4144. Jefferson Township
is a community consisting of 44 square miles
and populated by 8,652 residents. Jefferson
Township is a diverse residential community
with both commercial and agricultural
businesses. Captain Daryl Wilson joined the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in 1991 as a deputy Sheriff. Prior to joining the Sheriff's Office, Captain Wilson worked for the Board of County Commissioners' security force as a sergeant for three years. As a deputy, Captain Wilson served in the Jail Division, Road Patrol Division, Community Oriented Policing Unit, an as a evidence technician. In 1995 he was assigned to the Organized Crime Unit, where he served in an undercover capacity as a narcotics detective. While in the unit, he was recognized for his accomplishments by the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Dayton Police Department. Captain Wilson has been an active member of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office SWAT team and the Montgomery County Regional SWAT team since 1995. He continues to serve in this capacity as a Team Leader. Upon Captain Wilson's promotion to the rank of sergeant in 1998, he was assigned as a supervisor in the Jail Division. In 2001, he was assigned to the Road Patrol Division as a Road Patrol/Administrative Sergeant. Captain Wilson is currently assigned to the Operation Division as the Assistant Operations Commander. Captain Wilson graduated from Dunbar High School, and attended Sinclair Community College.
